Pamela J. Stancil, 68, of Rockford, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017. She was born on October 13, 1949 in Dekalb, Illinois; daughter of Leonard M. and Elaine (Dombrowski) Harold. Pam married her husband Kenneth Stancil on December 21, 1967 in Elgin, Illinois and they spent 50 wonderful years together. Pam loved to tend to her garden, and watch her flowers bloom. She enjoyed making baked goods and sharing them with friends and family. Especially, Pam loved her grandkids, and always was happiest with them around. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her.
Pam is survived by her husband, Ken; children, Kenneth (Karen) Stancil, Jr. of Bloomingdale, Illinois, and Tanya (Jason) Bartlett of Lake in the Hills, Illinois; grandchildren, Christina Stancil, Sydney Bartlett, Nicholas Stancil, Andrew Bartlett, and Samantha Bartlett; brothers, Leonard Harold and Michael Harold; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, and her sister, Patricia Bower.
A celebration of Pam’s life will be held on a later date.
