Norman L. Hise

Norman L. Hise, 50, of Machesney Park, passed away September 7, 2018. Born March 30, 1968, in Bakersfield, Ca. He enjoyed riding his Harley, playing his guitar, drawing, playing with his dog Walley, but most of all he loved being with his family. He served in the US Marine Corps during Desert Storm and currently worked as a law enforcement officer with the Rockford Park District Police and was a dedicated sergeant with metro enforcement. He married Cheryl Rockwell September 29, 2001 in Pensacola Florida.
Survivors include his daughters Haley Rockwell and Jenna Rockwell Hise, sons Jason Hise and Dean Harris, grandson Leo Harris and granddaughter Adelei Hise, very special Uncle William (Bill) Hise, sister Michelle (Hise) Watson, brother Richard Ferguson , parents and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was a friend and mentor to many and will be deeply missed and always loved. Norman is predeceased by his very special grandparents Joseph and Jessie Hise.
