Norma Lee Bacher, 88
Rockford- Norma Lee Bacher, 88, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Morning Star Village, surrounded by her loving family. Born September 3, 1927 in Monroe City, the daughter of Edward and Lola Cooper. Married James R. Bacher on September 14, 1946 in Vincennes, IN, he predeceased her on September 20, 2007. She worked for JL Clark for over twenty years. Member and volunteer of Brooke Road United Methodist Church. Member of the Baltic Star. Enjoyed spending her time traveling, camping, fishing, reading, playing bingo, crocheting but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include daughters, Jeanne (Larry) Everson and Linda (David) Fosse; son Terry Bacher; grandchildren Ron Reece Jr, Scott Reece, Chad Fosse, Mathew Bacher, Amy and Rex Harbison, Joseph Schaible, and Amanda (Ray) Ignacio; great grandchildren Layney and Callie Harbison; two brothers and one sister. Predeceased by parents and husband as well as three brothers. Family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Heartland Hospice and Morning Star Village for their kindness and compassionate care.
Funeral Service will be 11 am on Friday October 23, 2015 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Visitation from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday October 22 and will continue on Friday from 10 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home. Private family burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
