Nate Dog Rogers, 79, Rockford, died at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in Swedish American Hospital.nbsp; Born February 6, 1928 in Blanchardville, WI, son of Joseph and Anna Williams Rogers. He graduated from Blanchardville High School and the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Married his wife, Theresa Dobrowolski, May 30, 1956.nbsp; Employed as a maintenance engineer for several places, the last being the Rockford Metro Center.nbsp; Nathan had been a member of the Kiwanis Club and was an active coach for the Harlem Community Center, Eastside Boys Club and the Harlem Park Boys Club.nbsp; He loved to socialize, play his guitar and especially enjoyed singing Karaoke. nbsp; Survivors include his children, Robert W. (Deborah) Heinz, Richard A. Rogers, Russell W. Rogers and Robin A. (Kent) Hinerichsen; grandchildren, Kyle, Christopher, Robert, Graham, Justine, Casey and Kassandra.nbsp; Also survived by his brothers, Victor (Wanda) Rogers and John Rogers and niece, Joeanna Rogers.nbsp; Predeceased by his wife on January 14, 2003, his parents, and sister, Mildred Van Dinter. nbsp; Funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
