Nanette G. Hendler, age 54, passed away at home on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Nanette was born in the Philippines on April 13, 1969, daughter of Oscar and Emma Geronimo. She married Les Hendler in Chicago on February 14, 1990. Nanette was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Durand for many years.
She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend who kindled a flame of joy into the hearts of everyone who knew her and saw her smile. A smile so contagious, everyone would radiate with giggles, easing the world with an abundance of serenity. All together, her creativity reflected her generosity, talents, passion, and her love. Not only did she pass on these abilities to everyone around her, but also, she taught us how to love, so that we may reflect God’s love to everyone around us. By sharing her kindness, love, generosity, and creativity she made the lives of others that much easier. The same way she shared of herself, and made our lives easier.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Les Hendler; children, Tristan and Ariel Hendler; parents, Oscar and Emma Geronimo and her siblings, Cynthia Romero, Dennis Geronimo, Gigi Figlioli and John Geronimo.
