Nancy “Nadia” Kaczuk, 93, of Rockford, passed away October 10, 2017 at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born June 7, 1924 in Poland, the daughter of Teodor & Prischia Popienko. She moved to the US in 1951. She worked for Rockford Screw Products, but most of all she was a homemaker taking care of her children. Married John Kaczuk in Rockford in 1961. Member of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, especially when she won, feeding the birds and squirrels, and taking care of her flowers.
Survivors include children, Olga (Doug) Moore of Rockford, Paul Pawlow of Hawaii, John Kaczuk, Jr of Rockford and Tony Kaczuk of Rockford. 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and 1 sister. She is predeceased by husband, children Mary Thomas and Michael Pawlow, parents, and 3 brothers.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
