Nancy Helen Chadwick

Nancy Helen (Couch) Chadwick, 79, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was born on September 14, 1942 in McDougal, AR to Albert and Mildred (Bogle) Couch.

On July 1, 1961, Nancy Married James “Pat” Chadwick in McDougal, AR. They moved to Rockford, IL in 1964 and Nancy worked for G.E. for several years. Nancy also worked many jobs for her church, 20th Street Missionary Baptist Church, and especially liked visiting shut-in church members. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a loving wife, mother and Mawmaw and will hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Pat; son, Patrick (Beth) Chadwick of Ada, MI; granddaughters, Rachel, Hannah and Lindsay Chadwick of Ada, MI; grandson, Nik Morrow of Rockford, IL; great grandson, Elliot; brother, Tommy (Rosalee) Couch of IN; special friend, Loraine Odum of Rockford, IL; several nieces and nephews, and many McDougal school friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Sam Couch and brother and sister in law, Bill and Joanne Couch.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108.
