Nancy Evelyn Woodford

Nancy Evelyn Woodford, 96, of Rockford passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. Nancy was born November 12, 1921 to Mary Lafferty Miner and Arthur Miner in Oakland, Iowa. Nancy worked for many years at Woodward Governor Company making many lifelong friends. Nancy enjoyed traveling, reading, solving picture puzzles and dancing. Nancy was a member of Riverside Community Church.
Nancy is survived by her lifelong partner, Michael Ewaldz. Nancy is loved and will be missed by her children, Beverly (Robert) Farlik of Monroe Center, Robert (Sue) Woodford and Barbara (Wayne) Thompson. Nancy had 10 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Nancy was predeceased by her 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Riverside Community Church, 6816 N 2nd Street, Machesney Park with Rev. Bobby Sheets officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, assisted the family.
