Nancy A. Carmona

Nancy Alice Carmona, 77 of Rockford, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, in Rockford, IL. Born on March 14, 1947, to parents Lawrence and Bonnie (Loder) Bonetti in Madison, Wisconsin. Best friend to many, devoted to her family, and favorite aunt to all, Nancy will be remembered for her dedication to caring for those around her. She was an avid animal lover, calling Chester, her cat, her “four-legged child”, who will greatly miss her. On August 2nd of 1983, she married the love of her life, Agustin Carmona, in her hometown of Madison. They would share many years together before his passing in 2022.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Melissa Babcock; granddaughter, Kasey Crimmins; siblings, Michele Zindars, Steven Bonetti, James (Deb Gasek) Bonetti, Ricardo (Jody Timmerman) Bonetti; nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Alex) Gebhart, Anthony (Minerva) Bonetti; four great nieces and nephews; lifelong friends Sheree, Judy, Jim; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Agustin; parents; sister, Dolores Viola; and (favorite) brother-in-law, Tom.

A visitation for Nancy will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 3004 11th Street, Rockford, IL, 61109.
