Nadine Henderson

Nadine Henderson, 80, Rockford, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012. Born March 26, 1931 in Randles, MO;the daughter of Robert Lee and Mae (Lynch) Moore. Married James Henderson and later moved to Rockford in 1968. Nadine spent many years working in her home, providing childcare to nearly 100 chiildren. She never met a stranger, was always eager to lend a helping hand and was devoted to her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Nadine will be truly missed by those who loved her and all whose lives she has touched. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and sewing. Member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Ronnie (Lori) Moore of Winslow; daughter, Sharon (Robert) Tucker of Rockford; two sisters, Shirley Mobleyand Barbara Little of Randles, MO; grandchildren, Clinton, Victoria, Niki, Ronnie II, Brian, Robbie; greatgrandchildren, Camryn, Xavier, Gabby, Caige, Miranda, Emmitt, Ronnie III, Alexander, Marshall, Alex, Mckenzie and Willow; brotherinlaw, Buiel (Val) Robinson; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; husband, James; sisters, Betty Robinson and Pearline Dooley; brothersinlaw, Cedric Dooley, David Mobley and Jimmy Little; grandson, Chuck Edge; greatgranddaughter, Amanda Moore. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Whitaker officiating. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
