Myrtle Lois Gilewski

Myrtle “Lois” (Nichols) (Stone) Gilewski 87 of Rockford passed away Tuesday September 20, 2016 in her home. She was born April 30, 1929 in McKracken County, KY, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Nichols. She worked for Northern Trust Bank in Chicago as a consultant for investments and trusts. She was married to Robert Howell Stone who predeceased her and then to Marion Gilewski who also predeceased her.
Survivors include her children, Linda Kay (Tracy) Stone Saboy of Sparta, WI, Robert (Susan) Stone of Hood River, OR and George Gilewski of Rockford, IL. Grandchildren, Zachary Stone of Hood River, OR, Angela Scott) Riccio of Raleigh, NC and Sandra (Anthony) Walus of Trevor, WI. Great grandchildren, Ryan, Wayde, Hope, Neve’, Devin Miller. Spencer McKinnon. Maya Riccio. Kelsey Romanski. Alexis Clark. Eric, Melissa and Brooklyn Romanski. Great great grandchildren, Max Clark and Charlotte Miller. Siblings, Shirley (Norman) Casteel of LaPorte, IN, Wanda May (Al) Ablett of Peru, IL, and Mary “Viola” Nichols of Rockford. Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents.
