Monty Spera 74 of Rockford passed away Sunday January 15, 2017 in his home. He was born March 3, 1942 in Rockford, the son of Paul and Jennie Spera. He worked for the Winnebago County Sheriff’s office for many years. Member of St Edwards Church.
Survivors include his two children Kelly Spera and Dan (Alana) Spera. Grandchildren, Daxx Spera, Isabella Spera, Dominic Spera. Predeceased by his parents.
Memorial Mass at 11am Tuesday January 24, 2017 in St Edward Church 3004 11th Street with Father William Vallejo officiating. Visitation from 9am until 10:45 Tuesday in the church. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home Mulford Chapel. Express online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
