Michael W. Stahl

Michael W. Stahl, 61, of Rockford, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at his home. Born August 24, 1956 in Rockford, the son of Ronald W. & Patricia (Girard) Stahl. Graduated from Boylan Catholic High School, class of 1974, and BS from Rockford University. Married Bonita in Rockford on August 27, 1977. He was the Vice President of Sales for Olson Aluminum Castings. Member of Saint Edward Catholic Church. Mike loved spending time with his grandchildren and going on family trips. He was a defender of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include wife, Bonita; daughter, Sigrid (Janusz) Wis; son, Kurt (Emalee) Stahl; parents Ronald and Patricia; grandchildren Lukas and Robbie Wis, and Baby Stahl on the way; brother David (Paula) Stahl; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in laws.
Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 3004 11th St, Rockford, IL 61109. Visitation 5-7 pm Wednesday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S.
