Michael T. Thayer

January 3, 1946 — December 15, 2023

Michael T. Thayer, 77, of Rockford, passed away on December 15, 2023 after a short illness.

He proudly served our country in the United States Army for 3 years in the 82nd Airborne Division. Michael worked for Chrysler from 1968 to 2001 and also served in the prison ministry for 2 years in Dixon, IL.

Michael is dearly loved and missed by his wife, Ruth Thayer and his son, Kirtland M. Thayer.
