Michael P. "Mikee" Villani 72 of Rockford passed away Monday July 20, 2015 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 11, 1942 in Rockford, the son of Michael and Clara Villani. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Dianne Brown on December 29, 1979 in Rockford. Dianne predeceased him on September 01, 2012. He owned and operated Villani’s Specialty Auto Parts for over 30 years. Member of LLL Club, Blackhawk Athletic Club, Verdi Club, and former member of the Navy Club. Mikee took great pleasure with gardening, bowling, car shows, swap meets, tequila, hot peppers, and fireworks. He was famous for his Italian salads and his parties. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Bulls and Cubs.
Survivors include his four children, Cory (Rose) Villani of Rochelle, Sandy (Bruce) Abrahams of Machesney Park, Tiffany Prock of Rockford and Michele Martin of Clinton, TN. Grandchildren, Shane Villani, Alan (Samantha) Riffle, Brittany Wright and Sapphire Linker, Tony Villani, Zach Abrahams, and Baylee Prock. Very special friend Martha “Marty” Suhr of Poplar Grove. Predeceased by his wife Dianne, his parents, son Jerry and Daughter-in-law Burnadette. Special thanks to the VA Hospital in Madison for all their care throughout the years.
Funeral services at 11am Saturday July 25, 2015 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 3910 North Rockton Ave. Burial in Scottish Argyle Cemetery, Caledonia.
