May 10, 1967 — December 2, 2009

Michael DiMario, 46, Rockford, passed away into the loving presence of the Lord, Dec. 2, 2009. Born to life May 10, 1963, son of Joseph and Ann (Choppi) DiMario. Mike attended Boylan Catholic High School. Following graduation he became a mechanic and pursued his passion for older cars especially Cadillacs. Mikey will always be remembered for his free spirit and his innate ability to bring laughter to those around him. He enjoyed many things in life including car racing, Dale Earnhardt, Elvis Presley and visiting Graceland. Survivors include his wife; Anna DiMario, parents, Joseph and Ann DiMario of Rockford; Children, Hope, Haylee and Hollee DiMario and godchildren, Jennifer and Jordan DiMario; mother to his children, Trisha Scarpetta of Roscoe. stepson, Isaiah of Rockford; sister, Joanne DiMario; brothers, Joseph Jr. (Patricia) DiMario, Fred DiMario and Carl (Pamela) DiMario, all of Rockford; also many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Gardner. Mikey will forever remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten. We love and miss you always! God has a good mechanic now.

Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in St. Edwards Catholic Church with Father/Rev. Michael Black officiating. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday in St Edwards Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family. The family was assisted by Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 N.
