Michael B. Diehl

Michael "Mike" B. Diehl of Rockford passed away Sunday November 29, 2009 in his home after a short illness. He was born June 26, 1937 in Hawarden, IA. The son of Wallace M. and Medora L.(Lombard)Diehl. He came to Rockford in 1963 from Sioux Falls SD. He married Judy A. Morrow In Sioux Falls on 12/29/1963. He worked for Ingersoll Cutting Tool Company for 39 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of Macktown Mens Golf Association for many years, holding many positions and was a past board member. He also belonged to the Verde Club and the Venetian Club. Mike was an avid sports fan. He graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls SD and Augustana College Sioux Falls with a BS in Math/Physics. Survivors include his wife Judy, Daughters Katherine (Jeremy) Wilson of Rockford and Karolynne Nichols of Portland, OR. Granddaughter Olivia Wilson. Two sisters Margaret "Peg" Younger Lennox SD and Elizabeth "Beth" (Allen) Devitt of Omaha, NE. Numerous Cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents. Private Family services.
