MICHAEL ALLEN ROCKFORD - Michael was born on July 18, 1955 to Lora Allen and Samuel Smith in Rockford, IL. Michael Allen was employed at Ingersoll, Pink Pony, and Conagra Foods. He attended East High School in Rockford, IL. Michael enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He leaves behind Ann Cooper of Rockford, IL., Samuel (Florene) Smith of Rockford, IL. Special uncle, Wess (Peggie) Canada of Rockford, IL. Children, Chakila Floyd, Shatekwa (Shelia) Floyd, Niajha Cooper, Janet (Lonnie) Drayton, Cassandra (Kendrick) Hardy, and James (Carol) Cooper, sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Siblings, Sam L. Smith Jr., Leroy Smith, Dennis Smith, Jennifer (Willie) Holland, Joe (Sue) Smith, Jim (Maria Cole) Smith, Cassandra Smith, Leland Smith, Wanda Allen, Jerry Allen, Alan (Sarah) Allen, Gregory Allen, Anthony Allen, Charles (Tammy) Allen, Danny (Marsha) Allen; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his mother, Lora Allen; sister, Donna (Gilbert) Gibson; and brother, Cal Lock.
