Melinda A. Stanley

Melinda A. Stanley, 58, of Rockford, passed away February 22, 2020. Born October 14, 1961 in Honolulu, HI, the daughter of Victor and Mary Joan (Leary) Graduated from West High School, class of 1980. Lindy, as she was known to friends and family, was a fan of Broadway musicals, playing video and board games and fountain Pepsi. She loved working with young children and along with an in home daycare she also worked with both the YMCA and The United Way
Survivors include children, Carol, David, Mike and Rose Stanley; sisters Laura (Vince) Franco and Kit Schoonmaker; ex-husband, David Stanley and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents.
