Matthias Valdez

Matthias Valdez, 18 mo. of Rockford went home with his guardian angel on Friday, October 16, 2015. Born April 8, 2014 in Oak Lawn, IL the son of Bani and Karina (Mata) Valdez. Matthias was a true fighter from birth and never gave up. He was a very happy and active little boy who made his time on earth count. His soft hands, little feet and bigger than life smile will be missed deeply by his parents and the rest of his family and friends.
Funeral Mass Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Cemetery, Belvidere, IL. Visitation Tuesday, October 20 from 5-8 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Burial will be held in St. James Catholic Cemetery, Belvidere.
