Matthew David ClarkeLOVING SON, BROTHER, AND FATHER Matthew David Clarke, 21, died Thursday, June 3, 2010, following a hit and run accident. Matthew was born October 7, 1988, in Rockford. He enjoyed using his hands and heart to help others. He loved animals, traveling, and talking to everyone he met. Matthew was an avid "Brooke Road Rider" , cruisin the ditches of the southeast side. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Survived by his mom, Michelle Rubert; his father, Mark Clarke; son, Ashton Clarke; girlfriend, Amber Harshbarger; sister, Amber Clarke; brothers, Aaron and Marcer Clarke; grandparents, Billie Clarke and Richard Rubert; special family in Matthews heart, Richard and Cindy Livingston, April and Jamie Willoughby, and Tammy Livingston; several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his grandmother, Elaine Rubert, his grandfather, John Clarke, his uncle, Mike Rubert, and special great-grandparents, Jim and Nina Livingston.Funeral services will be at 3pm Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av. Rockford, IL 61103. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1pm until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
