Maryann Lott

Maryann Lott, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in Rockford, Illinois at Swedish American Hospital. Maryann was born January 12, 1947 in Charleston, Mississippi daughter of Henry Lott and Mary Elizabeth (Pittman) Lott. She studied at Kennedy King College in Chicago for business and administration. Married John Darren Huston with that union their daughter Shannon was born. Maryann worked at Sears Roebuck Co. for 32 years, she had a very strong work ethic and loved her job. She also enjoyed going to Refuge Bible Church in Chicago. Her main priority and drive was for her family; she loved spending time with them.
Maryann is survived by her mother, Mary; daughter, Shannon; grandchildren, Novian Lott and Brendon Johnson; Eight great grandchildren; and siblings, Callie Gill, Mack (Ella Jean) Lott, Henry Lott and a special ‘sister’ Geraldine Davis. She will be greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Henry Lott and infant sister, Doris Lott.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday October 10, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 North Rockton Avenue, Rockford, Illinois, with Elder Eugene Taylor of Refuge Bible Church officiating. Visitation for Maryann will be Friday, October 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be another visitation Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
