Mary Schultz

Mary Schultz, 83, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.
Born December 14, 1927 in Rockford, IL; the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Pagano) Russo.
Mary was a true matriarch of the family.
She taught her children the traditions that were passed down from generation to generation, how important good morals are and how to cook.
Mary would make hundreds of cookies during the holiday for her family.
In addition, Mary loved to fish, dance and gardening.
Mary married Wayne Schultz they later divorced after 43 years of marriage.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the V.F.W
Auxiliary for over 40 years.nbsp;nbsp; Survivors include sons, Joseph (Shirley) Schultz, Eugene Schultz, daughters, Maryann (James) Smith, Frances (Baudelio) Vasquez, Barbara (Stanley) Foster, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, 12 grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Anthony and brother Michael.
Visitation will be 11 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Avenue, Rockford, IL 61103.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery on a later date.nbsp;nbsp;
