Mary R. Ritter, 92, of Sedro-Woolley, WA formerly of Rockford, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017. She was born on April 4, 1925 in Pecatonica, the daughter of Leo and Alice (Elliott) Reddy. She proudly worked at the U.S. Post office for 23 years until her retirement in 1987. She was the president of the Silver Shamrock until 2004 and the president of the Illinois Club in Tuscan Estates. She attended St. Patrick Catholic Church. She loved to take bus trips that she sponsored, and crocheted every night.

She is survived by her son, Bruce (Cassie) Savage of Sedro-Woolley, WA; her sister in-laws, Audrey Reddy of Cincinnati, OH and Karen Reddy of Pecatonica; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husbands, Russel Alexander, Roy Savage, and Louis Ritter, her parents, her sister, Margaret Jean Nailor, and brothers, Joseph and Richard Reddy.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 126 W 5th St, Pecatonica. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass. Burial St. Mary Cemetery, Pecatonica. In lieu of flowers, memorials to hospice or charity of your choosing in Mary’s honor appreciated. Express online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
