Mary M. Hoar, 86, Rockford, died peacefully at 9:12 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2009. Born December 9, 1922 in Dodgeville, WI, daughter of George and Christina Kruel Martin. Married Robert P. Hoar in Loves Park on July 26, 1948. Mary was a loving mother who was completely devoted to her family.
Survivors include her sons, Steven P. Hoar and William R. (Roberta L.) Hoar both of Rockford; sister-in-law, Virginia Hoar and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Robert on July 14, 1968, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Her family would like to thank the staffs at Loyalton of Rockford, River Bluff Nursing Home and Bernie Marinelli for the loving care and support that was given to Mary.
Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with Rev. Matthew T. Rudden officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Loyalton of Rockford, 1545 Temple Ln, Rockford, IL. 61112 or River Bluff Nursing Home, 4401 N. Main, Rockford, IL. 61103.
