Mary M. Caccia

Mary M. Caccia, 90, of Rockford, died Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Presence Cor Mariae. She was born on May 23, 1924, in Amboy, IL, the daughter of Frank and Kathryn Kelly. Mary enjoyed her volunteer work for various charities including St. Bernadettes Seniors, St. Bernadettes Funeral Ministry, and the Charity Guild. Mary was an avid golfer with both her husband and with her friends in the Happy Hookers League. She also enjoyed her time with her bowling league. She loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildrens’ activities. Special thanks to the staff at Presence Cor Mariae and Hospice Care of America for their caring support.
Survived by her children, Paul (Carmela Zammuto) Caccia, Jeannie Uremovic, Bonnie (John) Murphy, Terry Caccia, and Eileen (Jeff) Banker; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and her brother Eugene Kelly. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Charles and son-in-law, James Uremovic Sr. Funeral Mass will be 10:45 am, Friday, January 23, 2015, at Presence Cor Mariae, 3330 Maria Linden Rd., Rockford, IL, 61114, with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
