Mary Lou Green

Mary Lou Green, 93, of Rockford, died on January 25, 2012. Mary Lou Green was born June 13, 1918 in Lawrence, Nebraska to William and Stephanie Schroeder. She married Dr. R. Gregory Green on August 21, 1941. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church for many years. She was also a member of the Winnebago County Medical Auxiliary and former member of Ladies of St. Bernadette. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Ongena; grandson, James Gregory Ongena; daughter, Judge Mary Linn Green (Don Ufkin). She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Dr. Raymond Gregory Green and Daughter, Stephanie Green Kosobucki. Funeral Mass will be ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­at St. James Catholic Church of Rockford on Saturday, January 28 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. James Catholic Church.
