Mary L. Linssen Hughes, 59, of Loves Park, died at 3:45 PM, Wednesday, October 24, 2007 in her home following a short and courageous battle with cancer.nbsp; Born October 14, 1948 in Rockford, the daughter of Neil and Colleen Linssen.nbsp; She married Michael J. Hughes in Oregon, IL.nbsp; She worked as a beautician for many years, most recently at Shear Perfection.nbsp; Member of Gentle Shepherd Church. She enjoyed shopping, the beaches in Naples, FL, nbsp;and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary also enjoyed her many rides on the Harley Davidson Motorcycle and rode for Kutters Harley Davidson MDA Run for the last three years. She was always getting involved in fundraisers and benefits to help others.nbsp; nbsp; Mary is survived by her husband Michael;nbsp; daughters, Sarah Holder of Loves Park, Libby (fianca(c) Steve Hardy) Mullvain of Rockford and Anna (Jeremiah) Mullvain-Johnson of Machesney Park;nbsp; 6 grandchildren, Natasha Holder, Ashlei Holder, Andria Holder and Thomas Holder, Samuel Mullvain and Mia Meyers;nbsp; 2 great-grandchildren, McKenzei and Brytyn;nbsp; sisters, Kathy Luther of Naples, FL, and Mona (Rick) Lilly of Rockton;nbsp; brother, Michael Linssen of Naples, FL; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Dan, Jeanette, Jonathan, Zachary and Camaron;nbsp; special friends, Barbara Lucas and Pastor Judy Penniman.nbsp; Special thanks to Dr. Bonomi and his care team at Rush-Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Aaron Coates and staff in Rockford, Heartland Hospice, and to all those who supported her benefit on August 25th at the VFW in Loves Park.nbsp; Predeceased by son, Donald Dosier and niece, Suzzanne Luther. nbsp; Funeral service at 11:00 am, Monday, October 29, 2007 in Gentle Shepherd Church, 2905 Bildahl St., Rockford, with Reverend Judy Penniman officiating.nbsp; Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation on Sunday, October 28, 2007 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N.
