Mary L. Fitzgerald-Deleon

Mary L. Fitzgerald-DeLeon, 60, of Rockford died on August 9 in her home. Mary was born August 1, 1947 in Rockford the daughter of Francis Fitzgerald and Catherine (Jepsen) and her nurturing mother Ann (Mordis). Mary was a lifelong resident of Rockford and graduated from West High School in 1965. She was a member of Family of God Fellowship. Mary is survived by her sons, Kelley (Tammy) Fitzgerald and Jose (Peggy) DeLeon; her daughter, Deanna Cantu; her grandchildren, Kayla, Kendra, Zack, Jordan, Domonick, Joey, Johnny and Alex; her sister, Susan (Richard) Nordenberg and her special friends, Doug and Edna Gustafson. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Fitzgerald and her aunt Mabel Anderson. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 12 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Riverside Chapel with Pastor Doug Gustafson of Family of God Fellowship officiating. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
