Mary F. Adrignola

Mary F. Adrignola, 88, lifelong Rockford resident, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born November 1, 1924, daughter of Michael and Matilda (Prince) Cassaro. Married Leonard J. Adrignola, Sr. on January 26, 1947. She had been a long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was presently a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mary was a bit of a spit-fire who was always obedient, but stubborn. She was a trusting woman whose family was everything to her.

Survivors include her children, Lenny (Lucy) Adrignola, Jr.. Carl (Kristine) Adrignola, Michael (Diane) Adrignola and Theresa (Robert) Sinks; grandchildren, Gina Brown, Aaron Adrignola, Jessica Adrignola, Tynan Sinks and Jenni Moore; great-grandchildren, Austin Brown, Becky Moore, KayLee Moore and Nick Moore; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Teena and Chuck Newburg. Predeceased by her husband on June 22, 2011; parents; brothers, Peter, John, Louis, Sam, Joe; sisters, Josephine, Frances and infant sister, Italia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 in St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday with a Rosary to be recited at 5:30 p.m. in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N.
