Mary C. DeNale

Mary Catherine DeNale, 93, of Rockford, Illinois died October 13th. Mary was born October 9, 1931 on the family farm outside of Greensburg, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of Carl and Mildred (Miller) Orczeck. She graduated from Greensburg High School in 1949. She married Ernest DeNale in 1959 and made her home in Rockford, Illinois. She worked for the Elliott Company and retired from Pepsi-Cola Co. after 14 years of service. She was a faithful member of Alpine Lutheran Church and was an active member of the American Legion Post 1207 Auxiliary. Her hobbies included gardening, traveling throughout the United States and to other countries, and putting puzzles together. Most especially, she loved spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her children David (Laura Perrino) of Rockford and Christina (Brian) Frank of Arlington Heights; her three grandsons Nicholas DeNale, Evan Frank and Tyler Frank; brother Larry Orczeck; sisters-in-law Janice Orczeck and Adelaide DeNale, and by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest; her parents; and her siblings Grace Coking, Helen Wolfgang, and Richard Orczeck. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Alpine Lutheran Church, 5001 Forest View Ave, Rockford, IL with Pastor Don Wink officiating. Burial at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.
