Mary Ann Morris

Mary Ann Morris, 89, of Rockford died Sunday, January 12, 2020. Born December 18, 1930, in Waukegan, Illinois to Howard Leonard and Evaline Martha (Cheney) Holland. She married Roy William Morris, on Dec. 20, 1952, in Waukegan. Mary Ann was a graduate of Lake Forest College, and was a school teacher for 5 years in Lake County before becoming a home maker and raising her children. An active member later into life with her Alpha Xi Delta sisters, she was also an avid bridge player.
Survivors include her children, Susan (Paul) Graf and Pam (Dennis) O’Connell; grandchildren, Steven (Katie Nell) O’Connell, Megan O’Connell, and Daniel O’Connell; and great-grandchildren Addie, Finn, and Ainsley. Predeceased by her husband Roy William Morris in 2007 and parents.
