Mary Alice Gould

Mary Alice Gould 76 of Rockford passed away Wednesday July 22, 2015 in Rockford Memorial hospital. She was born October 9, 1938 in Byron, the daughter of John and Kathryn Rieken. She married Raymond Gould on August 15, 1964. Mary worked for Barber Coleman, Rockford Public Schools and Younkers. A member of Aldersgate and former member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mary loved bowling and was very involved and loved to help others from the PTA, 4H and Den Mother.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond. Two children, Jennifer (Jim) Harris of Rockford, Scott (Tim Johnston) Gould of Loves Park. Grandchildren, Connor and Lukas Ball, Baylee and Sydney Didier, Trace, Trenton, Tyler, Peyton, Ayden, Tanner and Leighton Harris. Sister, Evelyn Farver of Rockford. Nephew, Kenneth (Julie) Farver of Woodstock. Great Nieces, Kristen (Luke) Wetta of Kansas and Amy Kathryn (Matt) Keifer of Chicago. Predeceased by her parents and nephew Keith Farver. Funeral services at 11am Tuesday July 28, 2015 in Aldersgate Church 4055 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103 with Pastor Doug Williams officiating. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery, Byron. Visitation from 5pm until 7pm Monday July 28 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Visitation also from 10am until 10:45 Tuesday in the church.
