Mary Agnes Coniglio-Cornelius

Mary Agnes (Lynch) Coniglio- Cornelius, 93 or Rockford took the Lords hand and walked into the light November 20, 2007 at 8:20 a.m. to join her husband Sam who passed away March 5, 2007. Mary was born October 17, 1914 in Freeport, IL the daughter of Sylvester C. and Margaret E. (Kelly) Lynch. She graduated from Beloit High School, class of 1932. She attended business school and anticipated going on to study Journalism, as she was a talented writer. Mary met Sam at a dance in Beloit, WI and later married him on September 27, 1941. Together they raised five children. All five children attended and graduated from St. Edward School. At one time, Mary was housekeeper and cook for the priests of St. Edward. She retired from Eastwing Manufacturing Company in 1970. She was a wonderful mother and devoted friend and will be missed by all. Mary is survived by her five children, Margery Alpiser, John Coniglio, Mary Jane Larsen, Ben Coniglio, Cathy Pendola and her eight grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, parents and grandson Dominic Pendola in October 2004. Funeral Mass will be in St. Edward Catholic Church, Thursday, November 29 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Black officiating and visiting celebrants. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford and from 9 until time of Mass Thursday in the church. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. Edward Catholic Church or St. Edward Catholic School. To
