Wignall, 89, Rockford, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Wesley Willows Health and Rehab Center.nbsp; She was born February 21, 1921, in Mineral Point, WI, the daughter of John E. and Agnes M. Schmit.nbsp; Mary married John J. Wignall in Rockford on November 11, 1943.nbsp; He passed away in Rockford on March 12, 1992.nbsp; Shenbsp; worked at the Bergers Distribution Center and prior to that at the Sears store.nbsp; She is a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.nbsp; Mary was active in a card club for many years
Survived by her daughter, Karen (Michael) Meeker of Rockford,nbsp; her son Tim (Anne) Wignall of Beaverton, Oregon; 3 grandchildren, Brian Taylor, Lauren and Adam Wignall; great grandchildren, John and Liam Taylor; sister, Lenora Manning; brother-in-law, Leighton Wignall;nbsp; sisters-in-law, Donelda Olsasky and Lola Schmit;nbsp; numerous nieces and nephews.nbsp; Predeceased by her husband, John, parents, 2 brothers, Frank and Jim Schmit.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30am, Wednesday, September 1, 2010, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2505 School St, Rockford, IL 61101 with Fr. Ricardo Hernandez officiating. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation from 6pm until 8pm, Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave Rockford, IL 61103.
