Marion Moore

Marion Moore, 95, of Rockford, IL, passed away on October 15, 2021. She was born on December 10, 1925 in Rockford, IL to Joseph and Stella (Witkowski) Dobel. Marion worked for over 40 years at Amerock Corporation. She was a longtime member of the Women’s of the Moose Club and a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing cards, and was an avid reader. Marion’s favorite holiday was Christmas, she enjoyed having everyone in the family over on Christmas morning and baking for them. She was a very good listener and was always willing to help others out if she could. Marion will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Marion is survived by her children, Douglas (Olga) Moore, David (Connie) Moore, Dale (Cherie) Moore, Dianne Axelson, and Dean Moore; her grandchildren, Steve, Mike, Tim, Ericka, Amanda, Ben, Jennifer, Stephanie, James, Jennifer, Nichole, Mandy, and Danielle; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, many siblings, her daughter, Dawn Ganoe and grandson, Eric Ganoe.
