Marion D. Hill, 92 Black and White photo   Marion D. Hill, 92 of Rockford, died Monday, January 12, 2009 at Wesley Willows. Born, June 13, 1916 in Chicago, the daughter of John R. and Annamae D. (Grace) Walsh. Married the late, Donald Hugh Hill on April 10, 1941 in Chicago, he preceded her in 2004. Worked at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Central Service for 2 years.  Along with working at the hospital, Marion was a volunteer there for 30 years, was on the Coroners Jury, Election Board, past Auxiliary President for Kewanee Hospital, St. Bernadette choir member for 20 years, Diocese Chorale member, member of St. Bernadette Sr. Association and Catholic Womens League. Survivors include her children, Maureen Elizabeth (John) Mariotti of Powell, Ohio, Nancy Jane (Lloyd) Hill-Sample of Naples, FL and Thomas Frederick (Theresa) Hill of Rockford; Daughter in Law, Sue Hill of Roscoe; 10 grandchildren; 13, great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Ann Paschke of Red Lion, Penn and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her husband, her son, Michael Dennis in 2008, brother, John R. Walsh and sister, Betty Opitz.   Funeral Mass, Friday, January 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Ave. with Rev. Matthew T. Rudden officiating. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to: Hospice Care of America, 483 N. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL  61107.  Fitzgerald Funeral Home is assisting the family.
