Marilyn M. Dohm

June 7, 1925 — April 20, 2008

Marilyn M. Dohm, of Rockford passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born in Rockford, the daughter of George and Ethelyn (Spath) Dohm. Marilyn graduated from Bishop Muldoon High School and Marquette University.   Marilyn was employed as the Administrative Assistant for Sunstrand Corporate Office for 46 years before her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Peter, Zonta Club of Rockford and was active on the Friends of the Coronado Committee.   Marilyn is survived by her siblings Ethlyn Ann Crosbie, John Patrick (Ingrid) Dohm and Helen Kay Dohm. Nieces and nephews Mary Ann Dohm, Michael Dohm, Susan Watson, Carol Dohm, Amy Smith, Catherine Crosbie, Caroline Crosbie, Marilyn Basile, Allison Crosbie, Julie Kay Robbins, Phillip Dohm, Molly Fuller, Peter Dohm, Alexandra Cheshire, John Patrick Dohm II, Raphaela Dohm and good friend Don Pearson. Predeceased by her parents, brothers Jerome E. and Dennis Dohm. Brother-in-law Ronald Crosbie.   Special thanks to the Dr. Kenneth Mihelich, Dr. Richard Nora and all the nurses and home health care staff at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.   Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am on Monday, April 28, 2008 in the Cathedral of St. Peter. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. and from 9:30 am until time of Mass Monday in the Cathedral. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Poor Clares Corpus Christi Monastery, 2111 S. Main St., Rockford, Il 61102.
