Marilyn Lender

Marilyn Marie Lender "Gramm” of Rockford passed away Thursday May 9, 2013 in Manor Court Nursing Home, Freeport, IL. She was born February 17, 1925 in Mudlake, Minnesota, the daughter of Edwin and Hilda Biggins. She married Chester Lender on November 10, 1945 in Rockford. Chester predeceased her in 1990. Marilyn worked at JI Case in Rockford and Micro switch in Freeport. Former member of Ridott United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Harmony Club and Mau Nah Tee See Country Club. Marilyn loved to bake and made the best chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cake in Rockford. Survivors include, three children, Sherry Lynn (Bryan) McDonald of Rockford, Mark (Cindy) Lender of Pecatonica and Marlyse Marie (Steve) Folk of Rock City. Grandchildren, Nicholas (Cheryl) McDonald, Nathaniel (Jackie) McDonald, Erin (Christopher) Wojewodzki, Chad Lender, Melissa (Tom) Wishard, Jason (Kelly) Lender, Brent (Jill) Lender, Seth Folk, Dana (Corey) Cahoon and Tanner (Rudy) Folk. Sixteen great grandchildren. Two brothers, Thomas (Marlene) Biggins and Billy Jo Biggins. Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband Chester, five brothers and three sisters.
