Marilyn H. Haddad, 95, of Rockford, passed away on August 20, 2024. She was born on March 24, 1929, in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of William and Helen (Momenteller) Bray. She married Lloyd Haddad on February 9, 1952, and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2021. Marilyn enjoyed cooking, shopping, and crafting, especially ceramics. Marilyn and Lloyd loved gambling and spending time at Mary’s Place in Rockford playing the slots. She was a member of the Wednesday Wizzies bowling league. She cherished the monthly lunches with her luncheon ladies, Chris, Nancy, and Sherry. Known as the 4’11 spitfire with a loving heart for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Rae Lynn Haddad, Kim (Bob) Marchione, Becky Haddad, and Mark (Shellie) Haddad; grandchildren, Bryan (Carina), Nicole, Jason (Jessie), Alexis (Chris), and Lindsay (Matt); great grandchildren, Anthony, Isabell, Christopher, Maxwell, Addison, Stuart, Dawsyn, Hadley, and Arthur; great great grandchildren, Baxter; and wonderful neighbors, John & Debbie Licari, and Renew. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Lloyd; and many beloved animals.
