Marilyn E. Hodges

Rockford- Marilyn E. Hodges, 63, died Friday, October 9, 2009 in her home after a long illness. Born July 22, 1946 in Rockford, daughter of Earl and Mary (Lee) Seaton. Married her loving husband Dennis W. Hodges on September 12, 1964 in Rockford. She worked for All Rental Garment for over 20 years and was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Marilyn loved to spend time with her family and cherished every moment they had together, she will be missed by all. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Dennis Hodges; children, Tammy (Matt) Robbins and Dennis Hodges all of Rockford; grandchildren, Ashley, Zachery and Kyle Robbins; great granddaughter, Jayden; numerous cousins and her faithful K9 companion, Ralph. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4620 20 th St. Rockford, IL 61109 with Rev. Ralph Kuespert officiating. Interment in Kishwaukee Cemetery. Visitation Thursday in church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Memorials to OSF Hospice or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
