Marie Rose Aaby

Marie Rose Aaby, 100, Rockford, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017, in River Bluff Nursing Home. She was born February 3, 1917, in Independence, Louisiana, the daughter of Carl and Rose (Gulotta) Pumilia. Marie married Arthur J.P. Aaby in Rockford on June 14, 1952. He passed away on April 1, 1992. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Survived by her son, David Aaby of Rockford and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2505 School St. Rockford. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
