Marie J. Divito

Marie J. DiVito, 95, Rockford, died at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born December 3, 1912 in Chicago, daughter of Charles and Florence Kinney Malone. Married Edmund J. DiVito in Chicago on October 13, 1940. Formerly worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Co., Parade Magazine, Winnebago County Court House and Lillians. She retired in 1977 from Canfield Clinic. Member of the Cathedral of St. Peter and was a member of St. Annes Society. Survived by his son, Edward DiVito; daughter, Rosemary (Reno) Sandona; grandson, Peter Sandona and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, parents, brothers, John and Ray and sisters, Rita and Lorraine. Funeral mass at 11:00 a. m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 in the Cathedral of St. Peter with Rev. Kevin Butler officiating. Entombment in Calvary Mausoleum. Visitation from 10:00 until 10:45a.m. in the church on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the family.
