Maria A. Quinones, 89, of Rockford, passed away May 13, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Born August 9, 1930 in Hidalgo del Parral Chihuahua, Mexico, the daughter of Manuel Melendez & Maria de Los Angeles Guillen. Married Alejandro Quinones and together they raised a beautiful family. Maria loved her children and was devoted to her prayers.
Survived by children, Alberto (Ofelia) Arizmendi, Maria G. Quinones, Ines Quinones, Alejandro (Esther) Quinones, Yolanda (Jorge) Quinones, Guerrro (Leticia) Quinones, Armando (Renee) Quinones, Norma (Tim) Trosper, Olivia (Frank) Chavez and Carlos (Marla) Rivera.
Grandchildren, Laura, David, Carmen, Victor, Graciela, Monica, Patricia, Juan, Alberto, Rosario, Magdalena, Anabel, Oscar, Nancy, Tim, Tina, Tammy, Rudy, Aracely, Brenda, Mario, Omar, Jorge, Vanessa, Karina, Aurora, Armando, Jr., Chelcie, Stepahnee, Whitney, Billy, Ivanna, Kate; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by husband, Alejandro Quinones; daughter, Francisca Arizmendi; grandchildren, Cesar, Oscar, and Ronald; brothers and sisters, Leonor, Cuca, Ramiro, Manuel and Rafael.
