Margie Lucille Kluge, 85, Rockford, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 in her home. Born March 2, 1923 in Rosiclare, IL, daughter of Roy and Ethel (Ramsey) Alley. Lived in Rockford for the past 62 years coming here from Golconda, IL. Married Kenneth B. Kluge in Rock Island on October 11, 1947. Employed in the dietary department at Rockford Memorial Hospital for 11 years, retiring in 1989. Margie was a great mom whose life revolved around her family. She loved animals and enjoyed her beloved cat. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; children, Kurtis (Rebecca) Kluge, Carol (Loras) Salamone and Karen (Howard) Dean; grandchildren, Bryant Salamone and Sarah Kluge; sisters, Helen Barger, Imogene Threlkeld, Ruby Alley, Evelyn Leonard; brothers, Charles Alley and James Alley; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, Roy Alley, mother, Ethel Alley and her brother Ottis Alley. Visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2008 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N.
