Margaretta Margie Purdy, 73 of Loves Park passed away on May 31, 2007 in her home. Born December 27, 1933 in Rockford to Carlo and Pauline (Provenzano) Caltagerone. She graduated from Bishop Muldoon High School. Margie was an accountant employed by Ingersoll Milling Machine Company. She retired in 1997 after 29 years of employment. Margie is survived by her daughters Diane Lindquist (Dan Stevens), Cynthia (Michael) Stickley and Judith (Will) Stanicek; grandchildren Samantha Lindquist, Elizabeth Stickley, Ryan and Will Stanicek. Sister Antonette (Cosmo) Matranga, brothers Albert Caltagerone and Alfonso (Elizabeth) Caltagerone. Sister- In-Law Margo Vogt. Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Dear and closest friend Sue Glogowski. Predeceased by her parents, brother Peter Caltagerone, Twin sister Josephine (Jake) Cacioppi, sister-in-law Helen Caltagerone and brother-in-law Donald Vogt. Special thanks to Ray and Debbie Koba, Hanne and Greg Pearson, Edison Lim, M.D. and all the doctors and nurses at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Monday, June 4 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, with the Deacon Paul Bachrodt officiating. Visitation from 5-7 Sunday in the funeral home. Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials would be appreciated to the family.
