Margaret Quinn

Margaret Peggy Quinn, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2011, in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center surrounded by her family.
She was born August 27, 1931, in Oak Park, the daughter of John and Imelda (Doyle) Daleiden.
Peggy married Francis H. Quinn in Oak Park on April 19, 1958.
He passed away in Rockford on June 10, 2005.
She worked in the accounting department at Pranges for many years.
Peggy was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church since 1965, where she was active in many areas of the church.
She was a graduate of Rosary College in Chicago with a B.A. in History.
She enjoyed the opera, all types of art,
reading, and traveling. Peggy was an avid bridge player.

Survived by her daughter, Denise (Jose) Parra of Gig Harbor, Washington, her sons Stephen (Shelly) Quinn of Ft. Worth, Texas and John (Beth) Quinn of Rockford; her grandchildren, Catherine and Andrew Parra, Peter and Jack Quinn and Connor and Madeleine Quinn; sisters, Mary Sexton of Madison, Wisconsin and Ginny (Dick ) Persha of Glenview; brother, George (Alta) Daleiden of Kalamazoo, Michigan; 15 nieces and nephews; 22 great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Francis; her sons, Michael and Dominic; parents; her brother, Fr. Francis Pete Daleiden,OSB; her sister, Denise Daleiden; her brotherinlaw, James Jim Sexton.

Funeral Mass will be at 3:00pm, Friday, November 11, 2011, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road with Fr. David Vogel officiating. Private family graveside service in St. Mary/St. James Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Poor Clares Corpus Christi Monastery, 2111 S. Main St., Rockford, 61102.
