Margaret Peggy James

Margaret ""Peggy"" James, 44, of Rockford passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born March 28, 1965 in Rockford, the daughter of William B. and Marjorie (Lawson) Doyle. Peggy graduated from West High School and later married Dennis James on April 7, 1990. She attended Rockford Business College, where she received her certification as a Medical Technician. Peggy loved gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her siblings Ann Geddeis of Venice, Florida; Mary Houck, Debbie Hood, Jim (Jill) Doyle, John Doyle and Barry Doyle all of Rockford. Nieces and nephews Lauren and John of Venice, Florida; Denise of Sterling, IL; Brian, Jessica (Mike), Lucas, Trevor, Curtis and Susie of Rockford and John, Meredith, M.J. and Katie of Las Vegas, Nevada and great-nieces Hailey and Audrina of Sterling, IL. Longtime family friend Fr. William Collins and Fr. Richard Kramer. Predeceased by her husband Dennis James on May 8, 2009, parents and brother-in-law Doug Hood. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Rockton Cemetery, 600 West Street, Rockton, IL 61072, with the Rev. William Collins officiating.
