Margaret "Peggy" Ann Numbers

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Numbers, 63, of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016, in her home. Born in Rockford on May 3, 1953, the daughter of James and Wilma (Long) Howarth. Peggy married Michael Dean Numbers on March 14, 1992, in Rockton. He predeceased her in August of 2015. Peggy was an Administrative Assistant for the Rockford Public Schools for over 30 years retiring in 2015.
Survived by her brothers, Jim (Barbara) Howarth of Texas and Tom (Bronwyn) Howarth; nieces and nephews, Maggie, Jimmy, Kristie, Melanie, Amanda, Joel, Cory and Katie;Sophie, Chloe, Ryan, Katherine, Kristin, Jake, Taylor, Katie, Zakk, Jacob, Kenda, Great nieces and nephews, Sophia, Maddie, Caleb, Ben, Griffin, Nora and Emery; Aunt, Arlene Howarth of Roscoe; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Numbers and Mecum families; many friends from RPS 205 and close neighbors and friends, Michael and Wendy Geiselhart. Predeceased by her husband and parents.
Funeral Service 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 South Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108 with the Reverend Dean Parker officiating.
