Margaret M. Knutson

Margaret M. Knutson, 86, Rockford, died at 1:20 A.M. Thursday, March 13, 2008 in Alden Alma Nelson Manor. Born May 23, 1921 in Scales Mound, IL, daughter of Irie and Frieda Tressillian. Married Norman R. Knutson in Rockford on May 24, 1946. Margaret was an avid gardener and a wonderful, creative cook. She was a very generous and thoughtful woman who loved her family deeply. Survivors include her daughters; Jean (Ron)Boloski, Rockford and Doris Nichols, Bend, OR; sons, Ray Knutson and Randy (Cathy) Knutson both of Rockford; 7 grandchildren; brother, Joseph Tressillian, Bessemer, AL and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Norman, on October 14, 1986, her parents; sister, Charlotte Rewerts and brother, Orville Tressillian. A private family graveside service will be held. Arrangements were completed by Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
